The Mustang banner chat on a 3rd party site

If I were buying a new car, I'd buy a Mustang.

Like most people, I'd do a bunch of reading first, to check pictures, reviews and articles. Like most people, I'll spend time at various car blogs and online magazines. I'll most likely not spend much time at Ford's own website -- I can get better, more interesting and up-to-date info elsewhere.

So let's say one day I get an urge to take it for a test drive. Normally I'd have to take the time to find my nearest dealership, call and arrange things, and then go down there. If you're like me, you're what they call "time poor", and all things being equal, you probably just don't want the car badly enough to go through all that.

What if there was a banner on your favorite car blog like this? (it's clickable!)

What if it popped up a chat box and lead to an exchange like this?

Wouldn't it be far more likely that a transaction might happen between you and Ford?
